Fall Time Fun

We took a trip out to Apple Works this past Saturday! It had rained for two days straight and then luckily the sun came out and made a beautiful crisp fall day, perfect for the pumpkin patch! Everett had a blast, of course, because he has a blast everywhere he goes. There were bails of hay and pony rides and slides and a petting zoo and apple cider slushies and a wagon ride and PUMPKINS! We went with Grandma, Grandpa, Dylan and Great Aunt Suzie.
It was a great day!

what a big guy! Posing in the pumpkin patch while waiting for the wagon ride.

Looking for the perfect one

He's up to no good, look at that face!!! :-)
Daddy said about this one, "yep that's Everett!"
Gotta pat the punkins to find the best one!
A bunch of crazy people on a bus...

Mommy loved this little garden seat with her little guy in it!

Daddy, Everett and Aunt Suzie!
I was laughing so hard at them I almost cut Ev out of the photo!

Checking out the donkey.
Daddy would not let us touch the animals however because they are gross.

hanging out the lake patio with Dylan

The three of us (right after the pony ride hence the face!)

You probably cant tell from the photo but this is Daddy and Everett coming down the big slide from the barn!

Everett's first pony ride, he didn't like it as much as we thought he would.
Check out the look of terror!

I'm one and other fun stuff!!!

I had my first birthday not too long ago! My mommy and daddy still cant believe how big I am. The day before my birthday was a really rough one for my mommy. There were plenty of tears and lots of "can you believe he's one?" On my birthday I went to Toys R Us to pick out a special gift with mommy and daddy. Then we met my grandma, grandpa and Uncle Dylan for a birthday dinner!

Now that I walk er.. run I dont have time to pose for pictures. This is the best my mommy could do.

Mommy took this picture of me while Grama sang 'Happy Birthday' to me on the phone from Texas!

Mommy, Me and Daddy on my first birthday!

Posing after my birthday dinner with Uncle Dylan, Grandpa and Grandma!

Grandpa and I get into lots of trouble together. Don't we just look mischevious?

The next day was my big party. SO many people came to wish me a Happy Birthday!! It was crazy and they all loved it when I ate my cake. Mommy's cousin Cinnamon made it just for me with my favorite guy, Cookie Monster!! I even had blue icing up my nose. Mommy said, "Oh yummy!" :-)

After I was done making a huge yummy mess we opened up my presents. Man, oh man was I spoiled. So many toys! Mommy & Daddy got me a rocking lion (like a horse, only cooler) & a music player for my room because these days I will dance to anything with a beat! I also got a ton of cute clothes although I'm such a shrimp that I have to wait a little while to wear them. My Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Dylan got me a wagon that I love to take rides in. (Sometimes we pack it up in the car and take it over to their house so we can all walk together. Its my favorite when Uncle Dylan rides up next to me on his bike really fast!) My Grama and Grampa, Aunt Melissa, Uncle Eric & Sydney sent me all kinds of cool Sesame Street presents all the way from Texas! What was really cool was they got to watch me open them over the computer later after my party. I was so happy to see them :-) It was a great birthday, I am a very lucky little guy!

Wondering why everyone is staring at me and singing...

Me with my Cookie Monster Cake!!!

The next two are Mommy's favorites from my party!!

This is as close as Charlotte would get to me, unlike me she didn't want to be blue!

Auntie Em, my godmother, was a little more brave!

Half way through I just wanted to play with all these cool toys!

Papaw and Dylan took turns taking Charlotte and I for rides in my new wagon, she cracks me up!

Lots of other cool stuff has happened since my birthday, look....

Mommy & Daddy took me to see Up!- my first movie! I look so confused because Daddy took this in the pitch black! I liked it a lot, I watched it for an hour and laughed quite a bit! I didn't fuss or anything but they could tell I was getting bored so they decided not to push their luck.

Mommy loves to watch Concerts on DVD, this is one of our favorites, John Mayer. I got this music set from my Uncle Paul and Aunt Tina for my birthday and drummed along with John's band.

I had my very first ice cream cone and of course it was from Mrs. Curl!! My shirt appropriately said, "Always Hungry"

I really like flipping stuff over and trying to sit on it lately. I usually get stuck in this blue stool and have to squeal for help but I think its really funny that it makes Mommy laugh!

The only person that gets in trouble when this happens is Daddy, for leaving the bathroom door open!
Daddy and I love watching The Colts play and this is my new best buddy, EJ, my Auntie Em made him for me for my birthday.

Aren't we cool in our jerseys?

Here I am at a Weinie Roast we had to celebrate Mamaw and Papaw's birthdays. Like my hat? Aunt Suzie made it for me!!

All cute boys hang out at Starbucks....

Spaghetti night!

Three of my favorite things: Dancing, Daddy's cell phone and my Cookie Monster slippers
Right now I'm learning to feed myself with a big boy fork and spoon!

Playing the keyboard with Dylan who I've been calling, Dundun. Close enough?

I climb steps now, which is fun at Grandma and Grandpa's because they have two sets!

Me and Mommy on her birthday!

Last but not least is My First Haircut! Mommy was sad to cut my baby hair but Daddy said it was time to get a big boy haircut. It was pretty fun. Check it out.

Daddy and I played with the trainset while we waited for my turn. Notice "the curl" behind my ear that Mommy was really sad to see go.

This is the official "before" picture. I loved sitting in the Lightening McQueen car, cool huh?

What's going on guys?

My "after" picture! I look like such a big boy huh? I had a ton of fun and got to go down the inside slide as a reward for being good. Mommy felt better too because the nice lady put my curls in a bag for her to save......forever. :-)

That's all here. Just hanging out, the three of us having lots of adventures and looking forward to the Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard. Autumn is here in Indiana, the leaves are changing the temperatures are dropping, and Mommy and I are searching for the perfect Halloween costume for me and we're getting more and more and more excited about.... my first snow angel!

Love you!!!- Everett
